President Koji Nagai
Through grants and scholarships, Nomura Foundation supports research and education in social science, research and related publications on the global macro economy and capital markets, foreign students majoring in liberal arts and social science in Japan, up and coming young artists from around the world, and international artistic and cultural exchanges.
In addition, as a foundation established by a corporate group with a financial institution as a core company, we believe that one of our important tasks is to encourage the interchange between social science theory and practice related to economy and finance.
The world is becoming more and more globalized and change is occurring increasingly rapidly. From its base in the private sector, Nomura Foundation is well positioned to address these changes, and through its activities it will support the dynamic and sustainable advancement of the economy and society in both Japan and the world.
