Prix de Lausanne

The Prix de Lausanne is a competition open to dancers of all nationalities aged 15 to 18 who have not yet turned professional. Winners receive scholarships to the most prestigious dance schools and companies such as London's Royal Ballet School. Many Japanese dancers have participated in the competition and some, including Miyako Yoshida and Tetsuya Kumakawa, have won the prize.
